Empties - August 2014

Hi Everyone!
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend and remembered to put your clocks forward! I totally missed that extra hour of sleep but at least we are gaining some sunlight! I hope my empties posts are being enjoyed because I seem to be on a roll with them this week. These are the products I made it through in August...

My full basket of empties...

Adidas Relax Hydrating Flower Bouquet Body Wash (400ml)
I believe this was a couple of dollars at Walmart, so I picked a couple of these up to give them a try. I really like the scent and formula of this body wash, it did the job and did it well. This foamed really well on a loofah and is something that I will pick up again at some point.

Softsoap Citrus Splash & Berry Fusion Moisturizing Body Wash (532ml)
I believe this was another $2 or $3 body wash I picked up at Superstore. I find you get great value for your money with the Softsoap body wash products. This one has an amazing scent and contains little moisture beads. I will pick this up again also at some point down the road.

Michael Todd Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub (30ml)
This facial scrub came in one of the beauty box subscriptions - can't recall which one as I had about four of them on the go at one point! I really liked this scrub - the consistency was great and not too harsh on skin, the scent was great and I loved that it was actually a charcoal colour. This is great for all skin types and will remove dead skin and impurities. This contains 70% organic ingredients and is vegan friendly. This is definitely a scrub I will be looking into purchasing in the future.

100% Pure Brightening Scrub & Mask (118ml)
This scrub came in a beauty bag from when ebeauty.ca was still around. This was another scrub that worked well for me. It wasn't too aggressive on my skin but did a great job at removing dead skin and I really did feel that it left my skin brighter and healthier looking. This is 100% natural, 100% vegan and cruelty and gluten free. I would pick this up again if I can find it easily enough to repurchase.

Burt's Bees Soap Bark & Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream (170g)
This was a product the hubby picked up for me at one point (I believe last Christmas) and I feel like I should give him a little pat on the back for this one. This product is also 100% natural and cruelty free. I would use this face wash in the shower in the mornings and the scent definitely woke me up. This had a creamy texture to it which was gentle on skin and left it with a slight tingle after use. I would also pick up this product in the future.

Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream (100ml)
This is a go-to product for me and one that I have mentioned many times. This scrub is perfect for my skin and isn't too harsh or abrasive. This is allergy tested and 100% fragrance free. I will continue to purchase this product.

Unite Volumizing Conditioner (300ml)
This was a product that my mum picked up for me a while back. I really liked the scent of this conditioner but felt that the formula was hard to work through my hair. It did the job for a while but it not something I will be seeking out again in the future. This product was vegan, gluten free, paraben free and cruelty free.

Miss Jessie's Baby Buttercreme (2oz.)
This product came in a Glymm bag way back when and was a hair product that I had a hard time trying to figure out how to use. In the end I used this as a hair mask a couple times a week. It is described as a hair "moisturizer for curls, kinks and waves". This did have a great scent and is by a company against animal testing, however, I found this product awkward and hard to use. Won't be trying this again in the future.

Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo (30ml)
This was another hotel sample (have made it through a few of these in the past) and is a shampoo that has a nice formula but the scent is not for me, and that's a big factor for me which picking out hair products. I won't be seeking this out in the future.

Pampers Sensitive Wipes (56 wipes)
These perfume and alcohol free baby wipes were great for removing face makeup with ease before going in and washing my face. I loved the cute packaging and handy pop-lid. I will pick up these and similar wipes again in the future.

Joe Fresh 100 Cotton Pads
Made my way through yet another pack of cotton pads. I liked these, they did the job and were super cheap. I will continue to pick these up.

Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment (15oz.)
I picked this up from Sephora after receiving a mini version of it in the Sephora birthday gift. I loved the sheer wash of colour this provided, as well as the moisturizing formula and lemony scent. I found it super handy that this contained SPF 15 as well. I will be picking this up again very soon.

Lancome Genefique Youth Activating Concentrate (8ml)
I used this serum on my face at night after cleansing but before moisturizing my face. I felt that this left my skin more even and radiant. I liked the consistency of it and how lightweight it felt on my skin. I will likely be picking this up in the full sized version once I get my way through all of the mini samples I have accumulated.

NO PICTURE

Lysol No-Touch Antibacterial Hand Soap Refill in Soothing Cucumber (251ml)
I bought this refill to go with the Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap System. I am not a huge cucumber scent fan so I will probably stick with the other scents offered in this line. I did like the formula and consistency though - this left hands feeling squeaky clean.

Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soap in Mandarin Blossom (259ml)
This soap was part of the Italian Collection and one that I really enjoyed the scent of. I have a small stockpile of these soaps on hand at all times so will continue to repurchase them as they do a great job, are  generally found on sale, and have fun scents and packaging.

Yay, another empties post! Have you used anything lately you love?

Empties - July 2014

Hi Everyone!
Happy Friday/Weekend! Coming at you today with another empties post...

A look at what I made my way through...

Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Soothing Gel-Cream in Peach Oil (250ml)
I am a huge fan of gel-cream consistencies so fell in love with this Garnier body lotion right away. I enjoyed how this melted into skin without leaving any residue, and the subtle peach scent was lovely. This is something I will definitely purchase again.

Bath & Body Works Enchanted Evergreen Hand Soap (458ml)
I mainly picked this up way back when because the hubby loves "Christmas tree scents". This left hands squeaky clean and hydrated, and smelling like Christmas tree! I believe this was part of a holiday collection, but if I were to see it again I would pick it up for sure.

Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soap in Berry Sangria (259ml)
Yet another Bath &  Body Works hand soap! I have yet to try one I didn't like! Loved this one and would purchase again if I can find it (also was part of a collection).

Dove Gentle Exfoliating Nourishing Body Wash (354ml)
The name on this says it all - this really was a nourishing body wash that mildly exfoliated skin, leaving it smooth and hydrated feeling. It had a fresh scent to it and lathered really well with a loofah. Will try this product again without a doubt.

Bioderma Atoderm Gentle Shower Gel (100ml)
This is a great travel sized body wash meant for dry sensitive skin. This is paraben free, soap free and hypoallergenic. This left skin cleansed and smooth and also with a mild fresh scent. Found it neat that this product can be used on face and body. Would pick this product up again in the future.

Softsoap Body Butter Shea Butter Body Moisturizing Wash (443ml)
This is one of my favourite brands of body wash. They are always at a great price point, have nice scents, and perform well for what you would expect out of a body wash. Like the other products in this range, I really enjoyed this and will purchase it again in the future.

The Body Shop Shea Body Scrub & Coconut Cream Body Scrub (50ml each)
For those of you who haven't ever smelled the shea butter and coconut collections from The Body Shop...go do it. All of the products smell amazing. I enjoyed these scrubs - they sloughed away dead skin to leave smooth and wonderful results. If you can grab this on a sale they work out to be a pretty good deal. I will be picking these up again for sure.

Lush Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub (330g)
This was one of the first Lush products I tried and one of the reasons for me ever going into Lush. This is a salt scrub with a very unique scent that left skin refreshed and rejuvenated. You can use this on your hand for a more aggressive exfoliator or on a sponge for a more gentle one. This is vegan and Lush is a cruelty free brand. I will pick this up again and again and again!

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Touchable Full Shampoo (250ml)
This is the shampoo counterpart to the conditioner I used up, and, same as the conditioner - I loved the scent, the formula, and how it left my hair feeling. It didn't weigh hair down at all and left hair soft. Will definitely pick up the duo again.

Marc Anthony Hydrating Coconut Oil & Shea Butter Conditioner (250ml)
I think this was probably one of my favourite ever hair products that I have tried. The extreme coconut scent is what drew me in in the first place. This is sulfate free, tames frizz, detangles like no other, and leaves hair smelling absolutely incredible. I will without a doubt buy this again.

Herbal Essences Honey, I'm Strong Rinse Off Treatment (225ml)
I would use this rinse off hair mask a couple times a week to give hair some TLC. You just apply this in the shower after shampooing and rinse off to discover silky smooth hair. The only problem I had with this is if you used too much, it would leave hair greasy looking quite easily. A quarter size was just enough for my medium length hair. I will buy this product again for sure.

Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo & Conditioner (30ml each)
These were hotel samples I picked up somewhere along the way. I'm still not totally sure how I feel about these. I love what Aveda stands for, but the herbal scents are usually just too much for me. I did like the formula of these and what they did for my hair but wasn't a big fan of the scent. I don't see myself seeking these out to purchase.

Equate 100% Pure Cotton Quilted Pads (125 pads)
I picked these up at Walmart for around $2 and they did the trick for makeup/nail polish removal. I have purchased these again and again already.

Mereadesson All-in-One Moisturizer (12ml)
This must be the third or fourth pouch of this I have received and for some reason I keep trying them even though the scent is an absolute deal breaker for me. It stinks - plain and simple...but that's just my opinion. While I can appreciate the convenience of a product like this (all-in-one day and night moisturizer, eye cream, toner, cosmetic primer) I just can't get behind it.

Garnier Moisture Rescue Cleansing Cloths (25 Cloths)
These wipes are for face and eye makeup removal, and are suggested for dry and sensitive skin. These removed waterproof mascara and stubborn eye makeup and had a pleasant rose scent. The only complaint I had about these were they were quite dry - just added a bit of water to nix that issue. Probably would try these out again at some point down the road.

Systane Lid Eyelid Cleansing Wipes x 2
I can't recall where these wipes popped up from but they were fun to try out. I kept them in the overnight bag because of the handy individual packaging. These did a good job of removing makeup and I believe are meant for overall "eyelid hygiene". While these did a good job, I can't see me picking these up again because they seem like a bit of a luxury.

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (1.5ml)
This was a Sephora sample that I would keep in the overnight bag and is a product I have had many encounters with. This is super hydrating for skin and leaves skin full of moisture. I love the gel-cream consistency of this. I will be picking this up in the full size very soon.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash (60ml)
This is the mini version of my go-to face wash since middle school. This was also kept in the overnight bag and came in handy on many occasions. I love this face wash - it rids skin of impurities and reduces excess oil without drying out skin. I will continue to buy this product.

Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel (5ml)
This was a sampler I was happy I stumbled upon. Again, loved the gel-cream consistency of this product as well as its scent. This is great for normal to combination skin and can be used day and night on the face and neck. I will be on the hunt for this at my local Clarins counter.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution (100ml)
I love the size of this bottle - so handy for being on the go. This is an amazing product that I think everyone and their cat has heard about or used at some point. I put some of this on a cotton pad, hold it over my eye and it removes even the most stubborn eye makeup. This is great for sensitive skin and is fragrance free and requires no rinsing. I have this in a mega size already and will continue to repurchase this product.

Lancome Genefique Youth Activator (7ml)
I have a small collection accumulating of this product from Lancome Gift with Purchase events and random beauty boxes. I enjoy using this serum at night after cleansing and toning and before moisturizing my skin. This seems to leave my skin more even and radiant. I will pick this up in the full size when I am done with all of the samples!

Lancome Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector (7ml)
This is another product that I have multiples of - good thing so I can really give it a good try before sinking the money into it! This is said to correct wrinkes, pores and unevenness. I have to agree that it does all of those things. I'm just not sure if I prefer this over the Genefique yet - more testing must be done! I would probably pick this up though based on the results I have received so far.

Lancome Renergie Lift Multi-Action (15g)
This is a lifting and firming cream that is suitable for all skin types. I wasn't a big fan of the scent on this - it was a bit too strong for my liking and stung my eyes if I got it too close to that general area. I don't see me picking this up anytime soon as I have had better results with other facial creams.

Johnson's Baby Powder (42g)
Not too much to say about this one - this is my go-to powder for all over. I love everything about this product and will continue to repurchase.

Nivea Extra Nourishing Body Milk (2 x foil samples)
I find people either love the classic Nivea scent or hate it - I love it! Something comforting about it. I enjoyed using these samples which came with magazines. The cream was a bit harder to work into skin, it doesn't absorb naturally as quickly as other lotions I use and have used in the past but that's not a big deal by any means. This leaves skin feeling wonderful. I will probably try this out in the full size pretty soon.

Moroccanoil Treatment (25ml)
This was my first bottle of Moroccanoil and it left me wondering how I lived life before without it! I would apply a dime-sized amount of this to towel dried hair and scrunch in to leave hair smelling amazing and looking super shiny. This is for all hair types. Since using this one up I have picked up the full sized version with a handy pump.

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre Foil Sample
This was also a magazine freebie. I enjoyed this fresh and feminine scent for a couple of days. I have several favourite perfumes on the go right now so I don't see me picking this up anytime soon.

Clinique Blended Face Powder in 20 Invisible Blend (35g)
I really enjoyed this lightweight loose powder from Clinique and how it looked on my skin. I would wear it over top of foundation and sometimes on its own. This gave a very natural finish and kept oil at bay for quite a while. This is allergy tested, 100% fragrance free and is great for all skin types. I did pick up a different loose powder as I had this around for a while and wanted to try something a little different, but will do doubt try this again down the road.

L'Occitane en Provence Dry Skin Hand Cream with 20% Shea (10ml)
I kept this little hand cream in my purse and it quickly became a go-to staple. I have since purchased this in the extra large size and keep it in my nightstand. This is a quick absorbing, non-greasy hand cream and leaves skin hydrated and supple. I will continue to repurchase this product.

Done! Have you finished off any products lately?

Empties - June 2014

Hi Everyone!
Figure while I was on a roll (and didn't have many empties in June!) that I would throw up another empties post...

The fruits of my labour...

Ahava Deadsea Water Mineral Body Lotion (100ml)
This was another product for me that I was sad to use up. I love Ahava products and every one I have tried I have instantly fallen in love with. This body lotion went onto skin like silk and absorbed right away. It left skin feeling amazing and had a mild fresh kind of scent to it. Bonus that this is paraben free, allergy tested, and that Ahava is against animal testing. I will pick this up again in a heartbeat once I find out where it's for sale!

Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soap in Island Breeze (259ml)
Made my way through another foaming hand soap! This foaming hand soap had a fresh outdoor scent to it. I enjoyed this, although I believe it was part of a limited edition collection so I won't be able to get this scent again. But, there's plenty of other choices at Bath & Body Works!

Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Body Lotion (88ml)
Best. Scent. Ever. I love this scent by Bath & Body Works, and the good news is it's part of the Signature Collection, meaning it is available all the time! I already have another bottle of this yummy scent and will continue to purchase it.

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (30ml)
Another Clinique Gift with Purchase, but this time in a tube format. I love this fragrance free face lotion. It leaves skin super moisturized when left on overnight but can also be used as a 5 minute moisture mask. Will be picking this up very soon in the full size!

Sephora Instant Moisturizer (30ml)
I have used this product before and had great experiences with it. This is a lightweight, fast absorbing face cream that is oil-free and dermatologist tested. This has a great mild feminine scent to it. I have already picked this up in the full sized jar!

Pur Minerals Correcting Primer (10ml)
I wasn't a big fan of this primer. The scent nor texture quite did it for me. I couldn't quite pin point exactly what it was, but it's not Benefit's POREfessional so I think I will just stick to that!

Boscia Luminizing Black Mask (10g)
This was a sample I got from Sephora and I have fallen in love with this mask. Not only was it super fun to apply and wear around the house terrifying the cat, but this peel-off mask left my skin brighter, smoother and healthier looking. I will be picking this up for sure in the full sized version.

Dove Clear Tone Anti-Perspirant (17g)
Not sure where I acquired this product but it was a great gym bag sized anti-perspirant that did the job and had a nice scent to it. I love Dove products so no doubt will be picking this one up again soon.

Another empties post down - do you have any go-to products?

Empties - May 2014

Hi Everyone!
Totally embarrassing that this is a post for MAY 2014 but I have to start somewhere in the pile of empties and it goes way back to May of last year...good thing for notes!

A look at what I worked my way through...

OPI Avojuice Skin Quenchers in Coconut Melon Juicie (200ml)
I believe that this body lotion was a gift from my Ma. Not sure where she picked it up but I absolutely loved this lotion. First of all I love anything coconut so the scent was bang on, but also really liked the formula of this product. This went on smooth and absorbed into skin quickly without leaving a nasty residue or stickiness. This is something I will pick up again for sure.

Ivory Clean & Simple Aloe Scented Body Wash (709ml)
I enjoyed this mildly scented body wash - it lathered well on a loofah and left skin feeling super soft and with a nice aloe scent. This is a staple I will pick up again.

Softsoap Pampered Hands Foaming Hand Soap in Jamine Oasis (236ml)
This was a floral scented foaming hand soap that left hands soft and smelling lovely. Again, this is something I will pick up in the future.

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Touchably Full Conditioner (250ml)
I had the shampoo counterpart to this product and absolutely loved it, and the conditioner was no different. I loved the consistency of this, the scent, and how if left my hair feeling. This didn't weigh hair down at all and did a great job of detangling hair as soon as applied and worked through. This is another product I will pick up again.

Marc Anthony Pro Finish Ultimate Hold Hair Spray (44ml)
I believe this mini hair spray came in a beauty bonus bag of some sort (thinking The Shopping Channel?) and was super handy for the gym/overnight bag. This had a light scent to it which didn't cause a headache (which is always a bonus!) and did a great job holding hair in place. Really liked this and is something I would try out again.

L'Oreal Mythic Oil (Yellow Vial) & Kerastase Elixir Ultime Coloured Hair Oil (Pink Vial 3ml)
Both of these hair oil vials came in past beauty boxes. Again, these were a handy portable size for the gym/overnight bag. Both of these had a great scent and left hair feeling nourished, shiny and beautiful. I have quite the mass of hair oils to work through, but when I do need to pick another up I would do either of these again.

Aveeno Positively Nourishing Moisturize Shampoo & Conditioner (9ml each)
I have had this duo in a full size format before and loved them. I can't recall where these sample sizes came from but yet again were a great travel size. After using this duo hair feels squeaky clean and loved. Will pick these up again at some point I'm sure.

Pharmacopia Verbena Conditioner (36ml)
This conditioner was a hotel sample that I acquired somewhere along the way. While this had a nice scent to it, I found it to have zero moisturizing properties about it. It was hard to work this through hair and left me frustrated. This is not a product I will look into purchasing in the future.

Gilchrist & Soames Hair Protector (30ml)
This was another hotel sample from our travels. I did like this conditioner more than the one above but still nothing exciting or moving about it - but, lets face it, hotel samples are usually disappointing. Won't be looking into this one either.

Pharmacopia Verbena Shampoo (36ml)
Much like its conditioner counterpart above, this shampoo had a lovely scent but was difficult to work through hair and to lather. Not interested in trying this one again either.

Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream (2 x 30ml)
These two mini scrubs came in past Gift with Purchase sets from Clinique. I love this scrub and also have it in the full size. These are great travel sizes to have on hand though. The consistency of this scrub is great - it's aggressive enough to give your skin a good exfoliating but gentle enough on skin to not cause any irritation or dry areas. I will continue to purchase this scrub.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion (30ml)
This is another product that came in a past Clinique Gift with Purchase. This face lotion is recommended for very dry to dry combination skin. This is 100% fragrance free and is a good lotion you can rely on to not irritate your skin or cause any breakouts. This is also a product I have in the full size version. I will also continue to pick up this lotion.

Cover FX Anti-Aging Primer (5ml)
This is the second or third tube of this that I have received through beauty boxes. I keep coming back to the scent. It is very off-putting to me and something I can't seem to get past. I find the product itself is ok but did leave me feeling oilier than usual towards the end of the day. I won't be repurchasing this and think I will keep with my holy grail - Benefit POREfessional.

Degree Natureffects Anti-Perspirant (48g)
This anti-perspirant did its job all while making me smell nice. This has sea salt minerals - not sure what role they played but anyhow, would pick this one up again.

Make Up For Ever Sens'Eyes Waterproof Sensitive Eye Cleanser (25ml)
I believe this was a Sephora sample from a trip there at some point. This was fragrance free and something I would apply to a cotton pad to remove eye makeup. I did enjoy this but have used a handful of other products similar to this that I didn't have to fight as much with to remove stubborn mascaras and eyeliners. I don't think I will be trying this again any time soon.

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (15ml)
Yet another Clinique Gift with Purchase sample! I love this face gel/cream - it's like an overnight mask for your face and leaves skin very moisturized and soft the next morning. This is also fragrance free and allergy tested for those with sensitive skin. This is something I have been meaning to pick up in the full size and will have to get on that sooner than later!

L'Occitane en Provence Honey Hand Cream with 20% Shea Butter (30ml)
This was one of those products that I was using little by little towards the end because I was sad to see it go. This was a limited edition scent and I adored everything about this hand cream. I would go to town with this stuff at bed time to wake up to soft and loved hands. I would snap this up again in a heartbeat if I saw it in my travels.

Snoopy Baby Wipes (70 wipes)
These were a dollar store find that I found myself on the fence with. These were fragrance free/alcohol free/hypoallergenic  but they weren't very moist and it stressed me out the more I thought about using dollar store baby wipes on my face to remove makeup. I would pick these up again but only for keeping in the car for hand wipes.

Joe Fresh 100 Cotton Pads
This package of cotton pads are from Superstore and were around the $2 mark. I thought they did the job for what they are and are something I will pick up again at some point.

Benefit The POREfessional (0.15ml)
I love this primer. Plain and simple. I can't live without it and will continue to have it in my makeup arsenal.

There you have it - a little late! Have you used up a lot of product lately?

A Trip to London Drugs...

Hi Everyone!
Happy March! What a crazy run it has been since the New Year! Absolutely insane to think that we are into March...and yet again, and as usual, I am way behind on my posts! Today I wanted to share a recent trip to London Drugs...

I came across this gorgeous candle in a mint coloured glass container and had to have it! This was $10.99 and is by Kiera Grace and it is part of the Naturals Collection. I picked up the "Sea Mist" scent, which is a fresh kind of scent. This is a soy blend candle and it burns beautifully. I can't wait to finish this candle up - going to clean it out an use it for earrings, etc.

A look at the top...

Such a pretty container!

A look at the actual candle...

The next item I picked up was this Style Station by Polder. This was $19.99 and is a storage unit for your hair styling tools (hair dryers, flat iron, curlers, brushes, etc.). I got SUPER excited when I spotted this in store because I have always found that storing hair styling tools has been a major pain since way back in the day.

Here's the front of it - the metal mesh panel lets your hot tools cool down safely...such a great idea!

Here's a look from the top...

And the back. There's a cord storage pocket on the back so the cords don't have to be crammed in with your styling tools. You can hang this bad boy on the wall, on a towel bar, or just stand it up on the counter.

Next I picked up this 3ml Honey Marc Jacobs Eau de Parfum Rollerball Mini. This was $6.99 and is SO cute and an awesome size for the purse or overnight/gym bag.

Such a great size! And a wonderful wearable scent.

The last thing I picked up was this Down Bow Shadow/Blush by The Balm. This 9.9g pot was $24.00. This is a gorgeous matte baby pink blush and/or shadow that is going to be awesome for spring...very excited about this one!

A peek inside the packaging...

There you have it! Have you picked up anything great at London Drugs lately?

Review: Dr. Scholl's Invigorating Pedicure Foot Spa

Hi Everyone!
Happy Family Day to those of you in BC! It feels so odd to be at home during the day with the husband and cat on a Monday - it never happens. I thought I would spend some of the time doing a blog post as it has been a while again, as usual! Today I wanted to share a review on a product I have been getting a ton of use out of. I picked up the Dr. Scholl's Invigorating Pedicure Foot Spa at my local London Drug's on sale for $29 and some pennies. Let me tell you, this is the best $30 I have spent in a while! I believe the regular price for this was around $40 or $45 so I was very happy with the $30 price point. I feel like people either love or hate these foot spas but I was on the lookout for one for quite some time. I instantly relax as soon as I start using this, not to mention it leaves my feet soft and feeling loved. Let's get into it...

Here's a peek at the box...

First look at the foot spa all unpacked - love the design of this and the colours!

An up close look at the foot spa. The top middle purple button is an on/off button for the massage jets. Just below, in the white circular area, is where you attach the removable pumice stone. Love the purple splash guard so water and bubbles don't go everywhere!

Here's a look at the lower half of the foot spa - complete with massage roller! There are little holes all over the bed of the basin where water shoots out for a soothing foot massage. Another thing I love about this foot spa is that it keeps the water steady at the temperature you put into it originally with its Smart Heat system.

The handy instruction pamphlet that came with it...

And a bag of goodies to use in conjunction with the foot spa...

The removable pumice stone that affixes into place...

And a pedicure set containing nail clippers, foamies for your toes to use while painting them, and a scrubber brush.

Overall, I am loving this foot spa and use it usually once or twice a week for about 15 or so minutes. Sometimes I add some gel foot bath solution (which is perfectly safe to use with this) and other times I just add warm water. Once I have given my feet a good soaking, I slather on some foot cream and put on some fuzzy socks to lock in the moisture. If you are on the fence about at home foot spas or have had one on your mind for a while, I would definitely check this one out.

Do you own an at home foot spa?

Bath & Body Works Haul

Hi Everyone!
Back with a quick little haul to share. I made a trip to Bath & Body Works just before Christmas to pick up a few things for around the house...

Eeeek, what's inside?!

...hand soap and some mini candles!!!

Here's a look at some of the Deep Cleansing Hand Soap (236ml each) that I picked up...(L-R) Dancing Waters, Warm Vanilla Sugar, Sea Island Cotton & Caribbean Escape. These are all top favourite scents of mine from Bath & Body Works. These were on sale for $3.60 each with a coupon I used.

I picked up this ADORABLE penguin (favourite animal!!!) anti-bacterial hand sanitizer holder to fit the little bottles into that I picked up in the past from Bath & Body Works. This is currently hanging off of my purse for easy access. This was $4.00 with the coupon I used.

Lastly, I picked up some mini-candles that were $3.20 each with the coupon I used. These two are the mini-mason jar candles in Blackberry Bramble Tea & Vanilla Chai.

A peek at the lids...

Inside...

This was the third candle I picked up - a regular Bath & Body Works mini candle in Marshmallow Fireside. This smells soooo good - totally a must-have winter scent for the house.

Inside...

Have you been to Bath & Body Works recently?
